Bases replacements for Stationfall 3D miniatures No supports! 0.4mm nozzle compatible! Please note this project does not come with the miniatures included, only their bases. If you're looking for the insert I made for this game, click here . If you are looking for the original minis you can purchase them at ION Game Design or from your favorite board game store. The board game “Stationfall” has an official set of miniatures that are much better and immersive to use than the default wooden tokens in my opinion. The wooden tokens, on the other hand, provide information by displaying the character identity and its status (conscious or downed). The miniatures are sufficiently detailed but the bases are very basic with no details and even a bit warped (at least for the set I own). Using the standard 3D minis still requires to accompany them with the token to mark if that particular character is downed (you could just tip the mini down, but it's not as cool nor practical in a crowded map). I decided to make custom bases for the miniatures that allow to store the wooden token next to them and provide a more immersive scene to the character's surroundings, evoking the interiors of a spacecraft – ie. the titular space station. I am a beginner when it comes to painting miniatures so forgive me if my paint skills don't make justice to the level of detail achievable on the minis as well the bases. If you print & paint these please post your results! I'd be very happy to see them! If you want to discuss paint techniques, please join my Discord! 🏗️ Printing & Assembly instructions The bases are straightforward to print and do not require a 0.2 nozzle . The profile I am providing appears to be delivering the same amount of details as the rest of the miniatures so I recommend you use that. To install the miniatures on these bases you will need to clip the original minis right below their feet (use a good quality spruce cutter) and glue them to the 3D printed bases. I also pinned the miniatures using a mini pin-vise and stapler wire, however I don't think it's necessary as superglue and FDM bond rather well. Feel free to DM me or open my Discord to ask for help. BONUS: In one of the plates you'll notice a piece meant for the Security robot character: the original mini features a flat head top which is fine, but I find it a little weird, because it has no details whatsoever, no panel lines, just flat as if something were cut off. I created a small piece to glue on top to provide some extra details, if you paint the minis it will blend in beautifully and seamlessly. 📦 Storage The miniatures might only fit in the original box if you remove the original plastic insert. However, you could use my own insert to fit everything into the main game box , it has room to spare for the Project X minis as well. 💰 Commercial license available!
