The frame on its own is a 25 mm through-hole, which is right for screwdrivers. Drop this cup in and you get a closed 72 mm tube instead, long enough that a marker does not fall out when you bend over. HOW IT FITS The tube is 24.70 mm across and the bore of the frame is 25.00 mm, so there is 0.15 mm per side. It slides in and the lip at the top rests on the face of the frame. I print the tube at 24.70 rather than 24.80. At 24.80 the clearance is 0.10 mm per side, which is too tight for PETG on an FDM machine - it goes in stiff or not at all. WHY A SEPARATE CUP The cup is the part that wears. When it does, you reprint the cup, not the frame. One frame, whichever cup the job needs.
