Parametric OpenSCAD generator for cover plates compatible with the BTicino Matix series, covering Italian 502, 503, 504 and 505 flush-mount boxes. The rear geometry (skirt, snap hooks, ratchet teeth) was measured from a real Matix 503 plate, so the plates click onto original Matix supports (503SA/504SA) the same way the factory plates do. Outer dimensions follow the BTicino catalogue: 84 mm high, 96.2 / 120 / 143.7 mm wide for 2 / 3 / 4 modules (5 modules extrapolated to 167.4 mm). Customizer parameters (only four): moduli — width: 2, 3, 4 or 5 modules raggio_esterno — outer corner radius raggio_finestra — window corner radius tappo — blind plate: no window, no hooks, two countersunk screw holes on the standard box spacing (60 / 83.5 / 108.5 mm) Everything else (front thickness, 45° edge chamfer, rear skirt, release notches, hook position and ratchet teeth) is fixed to the measured values and can be edited in the [Hidden] section of the .scad file. Printing Print face down, no supports. The four snap tabs are 1.3 mm thick and flex between layers — PETG or ASA recommended; with PLA increase gancio_t to 1.8. The 0.3 mm ratchet teeth need a 0.4 nozzle and ≤ 0.15 mm layers to come out clean. Nice with a textured plate or a fuzzy-skin/texture on the front. Notes 502 and 504/505 hook positions are derived from the 503 measurement; verify on your support before printing a batch. Not compatible with MatixGO (different support and plate system). Not affiliated with BTicino/Legrand.
