I change which AMS is connected to which extruder rather frequently so I wanted a way to keep track of two things: 1) The AMS' ID letter 2) Which extruder it's currently hooked up to To make that a quick task, I drew up this little slider. It has a large protruding letter (A-H) to identify the AMS itself which can be slid to two positions exposing either an L or R. I now know at a glance physically how I've got things hooked up when moving spools around 😊 Print has no aggressive overhangs, no supports, and does not require brims. Assembly is easy - just a few drops of CA glue right along the inside edge of the lip, check the orientation of parts, and press it all together. Once the glue has cured add a few little strips of VHB tape and they'll stick securely to an AMS. As the AMS 2 and HT can get hot I'd suggest using at least PETG for these. Probably OK in PLA, but… PETG is a safer bet. I'd also suggest grey instead of white for a better look.
