Greek Goddess Head — Classical Bust Two thousand years of being copied in plaster. First time in PLA. Every art school keeps one of these heads on a shelf for students to draw. This one is for the printer instead. She's a classical goddess head on a square plinth, the way the old casts were made, so she stands on her own with nothing to glue. Blank eyes, center part, hair pulled back over the ears into a knot. The relief on the hair is shallow and wide, which is what made her easy to draw and what makes her easy to print: there is nothing thin on this model to snap off or to disappear into a wall. At desk size she's a shelf piece. At full height she does a second job. The crown is smooth and the hair covers the ears, so a pair of headphones sits on her the way it sits on you.
