An absolutely stunning woodland creature - Squirrel with an acorn, done in a beautiful lattice style. Probably my favorite lattice style piece Ive made. The open structure makes the sculpture look different from every angle. In brighter surroundings it feels light and delicate; against a darker background, the complete squirrel and tail become immediately visible through their negative space. It works especially well in russet, copper, burnt orange or natural wood tones, making it an excellent piece of woodland décor, autumn decoration or year-round animal art. As is the norm with this kind of intricate lattice art: Support removal can be a pain in the ass. But take your time and it comes out clean and looking stunning!
