The flexible articulated mounting design attaches directly to the headrest posts without tools and allows the holder to adapt to the position of the seat and headrest. It is especially useful for rear-seat passengers and families with kids, providing an easy-to-reach place for drinks, bottles, snacks, or other small items. Compatibility This model uses the same mounting concept as my original Flexible Rotating Hook for Car Headrest . Headrest dimensions and available space vary significantly between vehicles, so please check your headrest posts and surrounding clearance before printing. This version is designed for Ø13.5 mm (0.53 in) headrest posts . Supported headrest post diameter: 13.5 mm / 0.53 in Please measure your headrest posts before printing. Headrest post diameters vary between vehicle models. Need another size? If your headrest posts have a different diameter, feel free to leave a comment or contact me with the required diameter. I can modify the mounting size to fit other headrest posts. For heavier bottles, make sure the holder is securely attached and test it while the vehicle is stationary before regular use. Printing PETG is recommended for normal automotive use because vehicle interiors can become very hot when parked in direct sunlight. ASA or ABS can also be used if your printer supports them. PLA is not recommended for long-term car use , especially in hot climates, as the temperature inside a parked vehicle may become high enough to soften or deform the part. Important This is intended as an accessory for normal passenger use. Avoid placing heavy, hot, sharp, or fragile objects in the holder. Make sure the holder and its contents do not interfere with seat operation, seat belts, airbags, or passenger movement.
