I wanted a controller stand that would fit inside my IKEA cubby next to the m64 without taking up a lot of extra space. This design holds the controllers alongside the system while still giving you access to the menu knob and cartridge slot. You can change games and use the menu knob without having to remove the controllers from the stand. The base is contoured to follow the shape of the m64 and sit snugly against the side of the system.
