For added grip, I sometimes apply a small amount of hot glue to certain contact points. In this build, I added hot glue along the inner edge to create extra padding and friction so the sander locks in more firmly. You can see this detail in the final photo—the black hot glue highlights where the additional grip was applied. I printed this version in ASA for long‑term durability and improved resistance to heat and warping. PLA works fine as well, and PETG is a solid middle‑ground option if you prefer a bit more toughness. The design does not require supports when printed with proper temperature settings.
