Maryland Flag Crab Measures about 17"x12" and can be printed by users without AMS. - For users without AMS, download the No-AMS profile → pauses are pre-set for filament changes. - After printed I thought the base would look better in gray, so the profile shows gray but you can change it back to black if you'd like. - Holes on the back can fit regular thumb tacks and are space about 8" apart. Assembly instructions I used: Print 2 of the plain frame piece 1st, to assure they will snap together. it does take a bit of force to connect them. a. Once you're sure they fit and connect, add glue to the sides with the connecting triangles. b. Put some paper under the print so you don't get glue on your table. 2. The top left section has 3 filament changes and it is one large piece w/frame. It serves as the aliment segment for the rest of the pieces. a. Once the 4 frame pieces are glue and secure you can start to glue the rest. b. I found it's best to work from the inside to outside, so all the piece are straight. 3. From here on, just keep adding on the pieces as they dry. Try and spread some glue across the frame seem. 4. This next step is optional. If you have a soldering iron around you can “solder weld” the pieces and frame together for added strength. There are youtube videos on this topic and you can practice on scrape or generic cubes. This probably isn't necessary if you glued or taped the frame/pieces well. I just quickly ran the hot iron across the frame seems and on the inside (none visible) sides of the pieces.
