After seeing the newest movie at the cinema, it made me feel like a kid again, dreaming of being him. Then I rewatched all the other movies and realized that the first step to being a web-slinging superhero (other than the powers of course) is being able to shoot webs. So in short, I really wanted to make some web shooters! 😆 I drew inspiration from the 2012 movie mainly because they're the most realistic ones in the entire franchise. Basic components of the original web shooter: Web fluid cartridge Precision valve A nozzle Tiny PCB to control the device A touch sensor A body/case A wrist mount Yeah, I didn't bother making all of them as most of them won't be seen. What I made: Web fluid cartridge A nozzle A touch sensor A body/case A wrist mount I really liked the idea of removable web cartridges, so I added that in my design. You will need elastic straps (25 mm wide and 16 cm in length). Neodymium magnets (8x2 mm). You can paint some details like I did, it really makes it pop! Bend the touch sensor slightly to the shape of your hand, as well as the strap holders to the shape of your wrist. After all of that, show them off at ComicCon and enjoy! Happy Printing!
