The magnet cavity is designed for a secure fit and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue if needed. For the most secure fit, the non-magnet version works best on slightly thicker shelf edges, allowing part of Spider-Man’s back to rest against the shelf while hanging (as shown in the first product photo). This provides much better stability.
