Tired of tangled cables in a messy drawer? This architectural diamond lattice organizer is designed to sit directly on your desktop or workbench, giving every single cable its own dedicated compartment.
Instead of standard square boxes that require bridging or circular tubes that fail at the top arch, this matrix is rotated exactly 45 degrees. This creates a series of deep "V-channels." When you coil a standard 1m to 2m cable, it rests perfectly within the bottom of the V, preventing it from unspooling or spilling out.
Engineered for 3D Printing Designed natively in CAD with additive manufacturing in mind, the 45-degree intersecting walls completely eliminate horizontal overhangs. This means the entire structure prints flat on its base plate with absolutely zero support material, leaving you with pristine, flawless compartments straight off the build plate. The jagged, unframed outer edge saves material and highlights the structural truss geometry.
Key Features:
100% Support-Free: Slopes are locked at 45 degrees for flawless FDM extrusion.
High Visibility: The angled V-channels naturally cradle coiled cables and make them easy to grab.
Solid Base: Includes an integrated, flat base plate for ultimate stability on your desk.
Rigid Truss Structure: The intersecting web acts like a structural lattice, making the part incredibly strong while minimizing filament usage.
Print Settings & Instructions
This model is highly optimized and drops effortlessly into Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer. Because of the 45-degree angles, you can push your print speeds without worrying about sagging overhangs.
Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS/ASA (PETG is great for a slightly matte, industrial look).
Layer Height: 0.20mm to 0.28mm (0.28mm prints exceptionally fast and looks great on this geometric design).
Wall Loops (Perimeters): 3 to 4 walls. This ensures the intersecting lattice ribs are almost entirely solid, providing massive structural rigidity without needing heavy infill.
Infill: 10% to 15% Gyroid or Grid (only really applies to the base plate and the thickest intersections).
Supports: NONE. Make sure supports are disabled in your slicer.
Brim: A skirt is fine. A brim is usually not necessary unless you have a drafty room or struggle with bed adhesion on wide prints, as the flat base plate provides plenty of surface area.
