Flickopter

The simplest flying toy you'll print this year.

Don't let its size fool you—this tiny helicopter is surprisingly addictive. Just one flick and you'll immediately want another try. Challenge your friends, compete for height or distance, and see who can master the perfect launch.

How to Launch

Hold the Flickopter with the rotor pointing upward.

Grip the stem between your thumb and middle finger (or index finger—use whatever feels most comfortable).

Press your fingers together and give it a quick flick while releasing.

With a little practice, the Flickopter will spin rapidly into the air before gently floating back down.
You can also try flicking it forward!

Left-handed?

Simply hold the Flickopter upside down and launch it the same way.

Challenge Yourself

Once you've mastered vertical launches, try experimenting with different launch angles.

Can you:

• Hit a target?

• Catch it before it lands?

Design Notes

The rotor blades have been designed to provide a balance between lift and rotational speed, while remaining easy to print without supports.
