This compact cap-mounted holder features a minimalist, lightweight, and durable design. Its flexible gripping system securely accommodates most standard pens and pencils with diameters between 7 and 11 mm.

L.E. At the request of some users, I also made a larger version, suitable for pens between 9–12 mm in diameter.

The holder attaches directly to the edge of a baseball cap and keeps the writing instrument firmly in place without adding unnecessary bulk. It is ideal for construction workers, technicians, sales representatives, warehouse staff, surveyors, and anyone who frequently needs quick access to a pen or pencil.

If the pencil is smaller, you can scale it down to 90-95% before printing. Also, if you use it with thicker pens, it may stretch and no longer grip a thinner pencil securely afterward.

• Material: PETG

• Perimeters: 3

• Layer height: 0.20 mm

• Infill: 15–25%

• Supports: Not required

PETG is recommended because it provides a good balance between strength, flexibility, and impact resistance.

If the part will be used primarily outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight, keep in mind that UV radiation accelerates plastic aging. In that case, PC and ASA are generally a better choice because retain mechanical properties longer under prolonged UV exposure.
