Designed to fit inside a 20 mm hole drilled into a wooden door, with a matching recessed magnet in the door frame. Once installed, the sensor is completely hidden while retaining the reliability, battery life, and Zigbee support of the original Aqara hardware.

For some reason, nobody makes an affordable off the shelf recessed door sensor, so here we are!

Hardware required

• 1 x Aqara T1 door sensor

• 2 x M2x8mm

• 2 x wood screws for installation

Printing Instructions

This is a very easy print! Just place each component flat side down on the print bed. 

PLA or PETG will work fine!

The Prusa Satin sheet gives a nearly invisible finish on my door frames for the magnets, you could also paint them for a truly invisible finish
