3D Printed Sea Kayak – Full-Size / 3D tištěný sea kajak v životní velikosti

Vytiskněte si vlastní loď! 🚣

Tento 3D tištěný seakajak v životní velikosti měří téměř 5 metrů a je plně funkční se vším co by správný kajak měl mít. Postavili jsme ho z 23 dílů, spojili 225 šrouby a chystáme se s ním na 800 km dlouhou výpravu z Prahy do Hamburku. Celou cestu můžete sledovat na Instagramu 👉 @ochutnejhory.


 

Jak kajak vypadá

  • Délka téměř 5 m, navržený jako klasický seakajak.
  • Rozdělený do 23 dílů, které přesně pasují na podložku Prusa XL (36×36 cm).
  • Spojeno  225 šrouby M4×14 a matkami (ideálně nerez).
  • Vodotěsné komory s uzavíratelnými dekly se závitem – ideální na bagáž.
  • Límec pro šprajdu. 
  • Drážka pro 1mm těsnění nebo silikon. (Pro naši výpravu jsme použili silikon.)
  • Otvor na selfie tyč vpředu i vzadu (pro epické záběry z vody).
  • Oka v kokpitu pro uchycení zádové opěrky. 
  • Oka pro madla vpředu a vzadu. 

Jak jsme tiskli
 

  • Materiál: PETG (spotřeba cca 20 kg).
  • navrženo pro tisk s minimálním použitím podpor. 
  • Tisk 5 perimetrů po vodotěsnost
  • Tiskárna Prusa XL
  • Těsnění pod dekly: TPU.
  • Spoje utěsněny silikonem, ale lze použít i gumové těsnění. 
  • Pro dokonalou vodotěsnost, jsme ještě přetírali epoxidem
     

Proč to sdílíme

Dobrodružství nemusí začínat na konci světa nejenom proto dáváme model zdarma k dispozici komunitě. Už se těším na vaše remixy. Co takhle deblkajak například

Print your own boat! 🚣♂

This full-size 3D-printed sea kayak is almost 5 meters long and fully functional — just like a real kayak should be. We built it from 23 parts, connected with 225 screws, and we’re getting ready for an 800 km adventure from Prague to Hamburg.

What the kayak looks like

  • Almost 5 meters long, designed as a classic sea kayak.
  • Split into 23 parts that perfectly fit on a Prusa XL print bed (36×36 cm).
  • Assembled with about 225 M4×14 screws and nuts (preferably stainless steel).
  • Watertight compartments with screw-on lids — perfect for storing gear.
  • Cockpit rim for a spray skirt.
  • Groove for a 1 mm seal or silicone (we used silicone for our expedition).
  • Mount holes for a selfie stick at the front and back — for epic water shots.
  • Attachment points in the cockpit for a backrest.
  • Handles at the front and back.
     

How we printed it

  • Material: PETG (about 20 kg used).
  • Designed to print with minimal supports.
  • 5 perimeters for watertight walls.
  • Printer: Prusa XL.
  • Lid seals: made from TPU.
  • Joints sealed with silicone, but rubber gaskets can also be used.

Adventure doesn’t have to start at the end of the world — that’s why we’re making this model free for the community.
