Description
Printable case for Apple's latest Airpods model (the 2025 Apple AirPods Pro 3). The photo shows the “glove fit” version.
The Airpods case simply slides in and fits snug like a glove and adds a 1mm protective shell all around the original case's shape.
The other files and presets are based on the same inside measurements, so the fit will be the same.
All other versions than the “glove fit” one will be able to stand vertically.
The front has a small hole for the case's status LED.
Side hole to attach a lanyard, bottom hole for USB charger cable. I purposely left the original case's bottom speaker holes closed so they're protected from dust. The "Find My" sound is still loud enough.
F3d files are included, as well as 5 preset STL and f3d files for chamfer and fillet options.
The f3d file has parameters for pretty much everything you need: wall thickness, width, depth, height, usb-plug width etc.
Don't increase wall thickness too much, otherwise the lid won't open fully.
Print Settings
I suggest printing with the openings facing upwards, so the original AirPods Pro 3 case fits better. The “Glove Fit” version will need supports.
If you don't like supports, you could try the chamfer version (45 degree angles) or the “Capsule Fit”.
With the included files and wall thickness, a 0.8mm nozzle comes out as a shell thickness of 2 layers.
