I noticed that the IFS wouldn't grab onto the spool correctly when I was using Anycubic filament I had purchased on Amazon. I decided to create an adapter, which seems to work perfectly and hasn't caused any issues after further prints.
For added compatibility:
Print with fuzzy skin for easier grip onto the spool & outer brim for build plate adhesion
(Settings for recommended above settings 15% infill included in .3mf, sliced with OrcaSlicer-FlashForge)
Technical details:
Main cylinder:
- Inner diameter: 55.55mm
- Outer diameter: 72.40mm
- WxLxH = 72.40mm x 72.40mm x 64mm (-4mm to H on thinner version)
Flange:
- 82mm diameter (17.6mm additional from Main Cylinder Outer dia.
- Approx. 6.00mm thick (aprox. 3mm on thin version)
Approximate print time with above sliced 3mf on AD5X: 2.25 hours
