This pouring spout is designed for canisters with DIN threads, commonly found on 10 L and 20 L canisters. An integrated air channel allows air to flow back into the canister while pouring, resulting in a smooth, controlled stream and preventing glugging, splashing, or spilling.
The design is modular and consists of four parts: Spout, knurled Nut, Vent and Cap
The knurled nut securely clamps the spout to the canister thread, creating a tight fit so no liquid should escape during pouring.
Variants
Each thread size is available in three length variants:
Regular: 105 mm
Short: 65 mm
Long: 150 mm
The long version features a significantly thinner outlet, making it especially suitable for applications like refilling AdBlue or other fluids where precise pouring into narrow openings is required.
Notes on the cap
Due to the diagonal print orientation, the cap may feel slightly stiff when used for the first time. Turning it in and out a few times—optionally while holding it gently with pliers—will noticeably smooth the thread. The cap is intended as a drip protection and is not fully leak-proof when turned upside down.

Material: PLA (PETG or ASA work equally well)
Layer height: 0.2 mm (Structural preset)
The vent part requires a brim
No supports needed
Compatibility & feedback
The DIN45 version has been physically tested. The DIN51, DIN61, and DIN71 versions are based on exact thread specifications. While I currently don’t own matching canisters for all sizes, they should fit correctly. If you print and test one of these variants, feedback is very welcome.
If you need a different thread size or diameter, feel free to leave a comment—this design can be adapted easily.
