The Fusion 360 design (included) allows you to change the tube width and other variables. The included STL is set for a tube width of 58mm – this should handle most tubes.
Usage
To assemble:
- Pass the toothpaste tube through the frame slot or slide it in from the end.
- Insert the key, straddling the tube, all the way into the frame until it snaps.
- Line up and push the gear onto the end of the key.
- Insert the ratchet into the hole in the frame until it snaps. You may need to turn the key slightly so the ratchet fits between teeth.
To unwind the tube for removal, remove the ratchet; or at least, partially remove it until to clears the gear.Â
