- Update of “Cone_Metal”, “Tank_Metal” and “Engine_Bay_Metal” parts due to poor export quality.

Information

This model is a new model based on the Ship S33, as the booster was not yet in V2, so I made the Starship V2 compatible with the booster on starship S24/B7.

To do this, you'll need to print out the “Jonction_Booster_x1” part in the Jonction folder.

If you don't want to put your Starship v2 on the old booster, you don't need this part.

Description

The Starship V2 model is a highly detailed 1:200 scale reproduction of the starship improvement. The model consists of several pieces printed separately, which are easy to print and assemble.

The finished model dimensions are approximately 26cm high and 8cm wide.

Printing

There are 26 parts to print, the total printing time for the entire model is approximately 9 hours.

Assembly and Printing Guide

While we wait for a more precise printing guide, here are a few tips

Cone, Tank, Engine
- The support are to be placed under each part in the hole provided for the junction block, but also under all large overhangs.
Flap
- I've added an E-shaped support on the inside of each flap, for easy removal.
- I've also added supports to the Flap_Bot_Black because there's a small unsupported part.
- I also advise you to use a print profile lower than 0.2, e.g. 0.16 or 0.12, and to raise the temperature a little.
Nameplate
- Nameplate can be printed with a multicolor system, but also with a color(M600) change at layer 14.

Tips

Settings

For the base, it is recommended to print with 3 perimeters to avoid visible infill.
If some parts are loose or don't fit, you can change the scale by +/- 1% in the slicer to get a better fit.

Printing

For a better final result, I recommend printing the Jonction_Block last so that you can adjust their size according to your print and have a better fit during assembly.

Post Printing

You may need to sand the junction areas between the parts for a smoother finish.
Additionally, I recommend using glue for better strength and durability.
