Added 2 new components, the side rail with integrated handle, and the side rail stacking connector. These allow for more customization as well the ability to add more rail sections. See details below.

Confirmed by @Aaron and Reddit user u/rygel_fievel that the Gator Rackworks rails are fully compatible, added them to the hardware list and description

Pointed out by @ChiefNugget_196587, Fixed an error with the cross rails where only one set of holes were threaded, uploaded new version 2 of the cross rails.

Update 2/28/25:

I uploaded a version 2 of the side rail that address an interreference issue that can happen if you are using rack components with very thin rack ears in the top or bottom slot.

Added new deeper version!

Original version results in an 8" deep rack. I added longer versions of the side rails and handle to create a 10" deep rack. Just use the Side_rail_long and Top_handle_long instead of the standard versions and you're good to go.

I designed my own 10" server rack using NavePoint rails. Using a couple easy to print parts, accessible rails and M4 screws, you can make your own 10" mini rack for a fraction of the price of an off the shelf rack. NavePoint rails are available on amazon in a variety of lengths, I went with 8U but they come anywhere from 2U to 20U. This design is also compatible with the Gator Rackworks rails.

The rack uses all M4 button head hardware and the threads are modeled into the parts. I recommend using a drill/driver to drive the screws in most of the way and to tighten the up my hand.

New Component Options:

Integrated Handle

I have added an option for a side rail with an integrated handle. This makes the handle more sturdy and gives more room for your knuckles. There are standard and deep versions and they are a drop in replacement for the side rail on the top of your rack.

Stacking Connector

This allows you to add another section of rack rails as you expand your rack. Just print 2 stacking connectors and 2 more cross rails and assemble as shown. Stacking connectors are available in standard and deep configurations.
