This is my 1911 model. It is a solid (no moving parts) 1:1 scale model. You can of course scale it to whatever size you like in your slicer. You could scale it down for GI Joe if you wanted or make it full-scale for a costume or something.
Countless 1911 variants have been produced. I have included the original m1911, m1911a1, the Colt Series 70 Government model, the Colt Series 80 Government Model, the Commander, and a custom version. By request, I have also added the Metal Gear Solid variant. If you want to see another variant, let me know and I can see about making more modified models.
The 1911 pistol is one of the most iconic firearms of all time. It was designed by the famous firearms designer John Moses Browning. It served the United States military from 1911 through 1985. The 1911 design was originally sold to Colt, but over the years it has been produced in countless variations by many different manufacturers.
This model was created using Solidworks with references to drawings and images online and measurements from my Colt Series 70.
