V2 Updates:
- Main body is now a 3mf file with multi-color embedded for the text / emblem
- Main body now prints horizontally instead of vertically to cut down on AMS waste.
- Better fit around the front of the Wii Remote to prevent it from falling out
- Now has a 3D printed spring - no additional hardware required anymore!

The V2 version of the zapper includes a 3D printed spring, so the zapper can now be 100% 3D printed, but the Trigger Slide V1 can still be used if you would like to use a traditional spring!Â
I got my traditional springs from a kit linked here, but I'm sure you can find a smaller amount of just what you need elsewhere. The ones I used were 17 mm x 5.5 mm. I am sure that several other lengths will also work. If you have a very different spring length, then the only part you need to modify is the hole in the Trigger Slide: a task that can be done in by adding a Negative Volume Modifier in Prusaslicer.
The filament used in my V1 photos is AMOLEN SILK Dual Color Blue Green Filament. If you also want to go for a dual-color print like this, make sure to orient your parts like the example below in order to maintain consistently colored sides!
Lastly, to get the seemless color transition between the grip and the main body, add a color change at the layer shown below. The “Photon_Grip_color_change.3mf” file already has this set up for you!
