Scale Mail for fabric printing

I tried to model this to have at least some thickness but not too thick that it takes a long time to print. The base of each scale has a good enough “foot” size to have good bed adhesion but also so that you can put a 1 or 2 layer stop in the print process so you can attach a sheet of fabric or tulle to the print. Works really great for dual or tri-color filament.

Included is a small test file of just four scales so you can quickly see how the scales print onto your fabric.

Recommended to print in standard quality, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.16mm layer height. Not much need for infill, maybe 10-15% at best.
