Upon getting an Ender 3 v3 KE immediately I knew I wanted to get the spool off the top of the gantry, after looking at various designs I choose to make my own, after seeing flaws with a similar design or others mounting the spool holder off the nebula mounting points.
I wanted to keep the spool as low as possible and at the same time as close to the printer as possible to reduce any strain on it, as you can see from the photos it can support the spool without falling over without being connected to the printer, this shows it has removed any strain and the clips only purpose are to stop it walking away or being pulled over as it isn't actually designed as a free standing holder.
This is designed for 1kg spools.
This may also fit the SE.
Printed in PLA, its advisable to use other materials if you plan to place it in an enclosure.
Ive used the standard parts from the Ender 3 v3 KE although there are some other hardware requirements:
2 x m5x10
2 x m5 nuts
I also used the follow guide system:

The print settings were used in Creality print 5 for the Ender 3 v3 KE:
0.2 mm standard profile with the following adjustments:
Â
Wall loops x 4
Grid infill 15%
Support "Enabled"
Type "Tree"

 Added a short foot versionÂ
