A stackable, interlocking modular holder for vials and test tubes in accordance with ISO-4142-2002 standard. A single module dimensions are 90x90x50mm.
One module has the following openings:
- 2 x 25mm (for tubes of diameter ⌀24mm)
- 6 x 20.5mm (for tubes of diameter ⌀18mm and ⌀20mm)
- 8 x 16.5mm (for tubes of diameter ⌀16mm)
- 10 x 13.5mm (for tubes of diameter ⌀10 mm, ⌀12mm, ⌀13mm)
The shelf can slide into the bottom slot to prevent thinner tubes from falling through the lower holes, or can be placed into the middle slot when you have shorter tubes. The shelf has dimples that keep it in place.
CAUTION:
- Do not use in experiments with exothermic reactions exceeding the glass transition temperatures of the material (60°C for PLA, 85°C for PETG etc.).
- In case of exothermic reactions do be sure to allow enough clearance between the test tubes to minimize interference between the tests.
Printing
- For PLA and PETG, supports are required only on the build plate. If your printer can not pull off the holes properly, you can enable supports everywhere, but it will take extra time and material.
- 0.20mm layer height
- 5% infill (except for the interlocking hooks that are enforced with 40% infill)
