I present my version of a cable holder for my steam deck. The USB-C part doesn't sit tight in its compartment, and also the cable is a little bit loose, but it's good enough :D Mainly designed it out of frustration, because most existing models had too many problems.
Features
- Fits the whole 2.5m original cable from the Steam Deck OLED
- No unecessary bending arround sharp corners
- easy cable windup
- fits the original bag
Which Version
If you have a good calibrated printer use the “Small Tolerance”-Version.
If not, use either the “Big Tolerance”-Version or if completly extrem the “Bad Printer”-Version.
Note: Each step from “Small” to “Big” to “Bad” just deviated by 0.4mm width on each site. But this has a big influence on the usable cable length (roughly 10mm).
Print Advice
Standard profiles should work, no support needed. I printed mine with the following settings:
- 0.2mm layer height
- 20% grid infill
- 4 walls
