The organizer includes the following components:
- 4 player boards (identical models except for using different letters: D, U, N, E)
- These can be printed in different colors, using a color swap to make the iconography more visible.
- Inspired from a beautiful wooden design by seller StrataStrike on Etsy.
- Designed to fit these control markers.
- One deck holder for all standard-sized cards.
- Fits sleeved cards. I use DragonShield Clear-Matte standard size.
- Print multiple separators for organising the different decks (player decks, imperium deck, house Hagal, rivals, etc).
- One holder for small cards (intrigue, objectives, conflict cards). Also fits sleeved cards.
- One holder for CHOAM contracts. Can be used during play as a draw deck.
- Stackable token containers (4x square + 2x wide) with lids.
- Two optional pieces for aligning the custom sandworm first player token.
- A simple raiser for the player boards.
- Can be printed using rectangular/hexagonal infill and 0 top/bottom layers.
- It helps fill the empty space and keep the player boards flush against the game board, such that player tokens can be safely stored inside the player boards.
There is little to no lid lift. The game board is aligned into a corner and doesn't move (use the card separators to enforce this alignment). Vertical storing works fine.
All deck holders have some additional space which can accommodate the Dune Imperium Bloodlines expansion with some necessary concessions listed below.
Everything was printed in PLA using a standard 0.4mm nozzle.
Dune Imperium Bloodlines expansion
This design is compatible with the Bloodlines expansion. You don't need to print any additional components. A few things to note (see attached pictures):
- You may need to remove 2-3 separators in order for all standard-sized cards to fit in the holder (only necessary if using thick sleeves).
- All small cards (intrigue, twisted intrigue, objectives, conflict, navigation) fit in the small deck holder but only unsleeved.
- Personal note: with this expansion the intrigue deck has grown large enough that I find sleeving it unwieldy. It tends to collapse easily unless handled carefully and is very slippery when shuffling.
- All CHOAM contracts fit in the holder; a couple of them must be placed sideways.
- All leader cards along with Tuek's Sietch board space fit in a single player board.
- All Sardaukar miniatures and cubes fit in any of the token containers.
- All Tech Tiles fit in one of the boxes aligning the sandworm first player token; all CHOAM transports fit in the other one.
- The Ixian Embassy board fits on top of everything else, just beneath the large game board.
Including the Bloodlines expansion adds ~2 mm lid lift. Overall the game still fits very well in the box.
