After the initial version garnered significant popularity, I have now taken the opportunity to update and enhance the 100% printable clamp.
What's new?
- Reinforced design
- Simplified thread for easier printing
- Reduced total length
How to print?
- Clamp - Seam position: Random.
- Print at a moderate speed (for the thread).
- Enable 'Elephant Foot Reduction' for the initial layer.
- Chooce PETG over PLA on the clamp.
- There are 2 body-versions and various clamps - you only need 1 of each.
Are you experiencing issues with the thread?
- Attempt to print the threadnut approximately 4-5% larger in the X and Y dimensions.
- Heat the threadnut slightly with a lighter, then screw on the bolt.
- Use a knife or file to clean the thread.
