This is a rough approximation of the flashbang from CSGO. It prints in multiple parts that fit together without the use of glue.
- All models should load in their recommended printing orientation.
- The handle and the top cover require supports. Avoid putting supports on the treads of the top cover.
- The handle could potentially be printed in a different orientation to minimize supports. I do not recommend printing it in any other orientation as this would come at the sacrifice some strength of the finished part.
- I recommend attaching a keyring to the end of the pin to complete the look.
Update
Added a new version that is closer to the actual dimensions of an M84. Parts from the old and new versions are not compatible.
- The new version has an extra piece, spring plunger, that is optional.
- A spring can be added to the bottom of this piece. When this part is installed into the top cover, the handle piece flies off of when the pin is removed.
- The spring I used is roughly 7.5mm outside diameter by 20mm length

Update 2024/08/24
- Created a new version of the “charge” part that has more clearance applied to the threads. This version should screw together more easily.
- Potentially resolved an issue with the original “charge” part where clearance had only been applied to one set of threads. This issue was preventing either the top or bottom cover from being screwed onto the side of the charge without the clearance.
Update 2024/09/16
- The "top cover" piece was somehow uploaded mirrored. This caused the threads to be reversed which prevented the charge and top cover from screwing together.
- I have mirrored the “top cover” and reuploaded so that the threads are the correct direction.
- I misunderstood the issue presented by people that printed this model. I thought that the top cover was partially screwing onto the charge and getting stuck due to a thread clearance issue. I did not realize the parts were not screwing together at all due to opposing threading directions. Apologies to all that experienced this issue.
