The original public-domain image was traced, and outline created in Inkscape, then imported into FreeCAD, where the connecting pieces were added.
Beware the connecting tolerances when scaling - if the factor is high, you might need to scale the SVG, reimport, and recreate the model, or the pieces won't fit together.
