Important Update Note: I made this model early on with very little experience. Two people have now reported having issues with this model, and it's very possible that this model has problems. I  don’t want you to waste your filament…
Ripped out of Hyrule Warriors, remixed by myself. Full size, piece by piece, Fierce Deity Sword from The Legend of Zelda. No glue is required, (though it  always helps), but you’ll definetely need to sand the tolerances to make them fit well. Also, I know I said this was full size, (and it is), but hear me out: The canonical size of the Fierce Deity Sword is a whopping 5 Feet! That is absolutely enormous for a sword. Therefore, I recommend printing the 4-foot version or scaling it down a little more even. (Mine is 3.5 feet, 70% of full size, though the smaller size does make it flimsier). Also, a 5-foot sword is practical for almost nobody. If you do print the 5-foot version, you’ll have your work cut out for you making it fit on your printer, especially piece number 2. Â
Most of the parts need supports, but if you’re clever with how you position them you can get away with very little. Most of them are set up the way I printed them, but that might not be practical for you depending on your printer and whether you’re using multiple colors. If you do print this, please post your make! It was brought to my attention that piece 7 has a flimsy portion that doesn’t slice well in certain slicers. (Thanks for telling me). If you aren’t using Prusaslicer or the file doesn’t slice well, you might want to try these updated pieces: Updated versions of 7 to fix the issue and 5 to connect to 7. Warning: I haven’t tested them yet. Â
