I found this as an FBX file and it was a disaster.  25 shells. Took like 3 hours to make it manifold due to the need to subdivide it to the nth degree just to get it to (glue) together without breaking and disappearing during the process.  Weird stuff.  I also needed to ofset the entire piece by exactly .16 (trial and error) to get it to not have huge holes and rake lines.  So weird.   More offset did not work less offset did not work… mind numbing. 

Anywhoo great piece by Alessandro Giommetti . 

UV offsets did not add any significant detail to model so I left that out this time.
