Hello Everyone

I've seen a lot of "Filament Spool Switcher & Winder" projects where users attach them to different types of boards. For me, it is ill-considered, unwieldy and takes up unnecessary space, and it looks terrible. That's why I decided to make something neat, taking up little space, good looking and really for little money. The purchase of two 20x20mm aluminum profiles with a length of 600mm costs 11€ with shipping. Below are details of what should be purchased and printed to make my project complete.

UPDATE 05.02.2024 : 

• I added a new version of the Handle. It has a larger contact area with the plate

• I have added a new version of the Knob M3 which now uses a Heat Threaded Insert instead of a nut

UPDATE 01.07.2024 : 

• I added two new types of handles - Central Handle and Side Handle. Each handle, like the previous version, is mounted with two screws. Additionally, in the new version i added hooks that attach inside the profile. There are several types of 20x20 profiles on the market, so if the hooks do not fit your profile, simply remove them after printing.

What Should I Print? :

For Original Donor Spool Frame by Miklos Kiszely & Remix :

• You must have or print a "Filament Spool Winder" with mounting holes that are perfectly centered with the holes of the "Filament Spool Switcher". The same applies to the arms of both stands, which must also be centered to each other. You can also print my Remix "Filament Spool Winder" which is for this project.

• Handle - Central - 1pc or Handle - Side - 2pcs - You can use two types of handles
   
• Knob M3 - Heat Threaded Insert - 8-14pcs (8pcs for Winder and Donor Spool Frame and 2pcs for the Handle - Central and 4pcs for Handle - Side
   
• Profiles Cap 20x20 - 4pcs - Only if you do not use the Handles - Side
   
• Bearing Cap - 2pcs if you use my Remix "Filament Spool Winder" or 1pc if you use the original “Filament Spool Winder” - Print the appropriate version depending on which axes you use (All bearings are perfectly hidden in the frame. It is therefore impossible to design a perfect bearing cap. The holder of the bearing cap cannot be enlarged. This would expand the bearing seats. Therefore, in case of their falling out, glue them with one drop of glue. So that they can be easily dismantled if necessary. You can also use a small piece of double sided tape at the top of the bearing where the handle goes in)
   
• Spacers - 4pcs - Only if you have drilled mounting holes. If you're using my Remix "Filament Spool Winder" you won't need them.

For Winder & Donor Spool Frame 2 - Modular Design :

• You must have or print a “Bambu Lab - Winder Spool Frame 2 - Modular Design” and “Bambu Lab - Donor Spool Frame 2 - Modular Design”
   
• Handle - Central - 1pc or Handle - Side - 2pcs - You can use two types of handles
   
• Knob M3 - Heat Threaded Insert - 8-14pcs (8pcs for Winder and Donor Spool Frame and 2pcs for the Handle - Central and 4pcs for Handle - Side
   
• Profiles Cap 20x20 - 4pcs - Only if you do not use the Handles - Side

How to print ?  :
 

• Material : Any
• Layer Height : 0.2mm
• Speed : All Max 120mm/s - In this case, the precision of printing matters
• Infill : 30%
• Wall Loops : 4
• Bottom Layers : 4
• Top Layers : 4
• Support : No
• Brim : No
