Update 21.11.2023: @SennedeValk_905437 spotted a small mistake in the body_82 part (thanks!). The mount for the qr part is not centered, it is slightly moved to the right. I'll fix this as soon as possible.

I really liked the look of the Fanatec wheelstand by gintonik. But I didn't like the screws and the adapter for the quick release.

So I remixed it to use Ruthex M5 thread inserts to hide all screws and pretty much remodeled the original QR1. Since the QR part can be easily changed, it can be updated to the QR2 (if/when it releases ;-))

There are three variants:

Body with 82mm height → Formula Style rim size
Body with 140mm height → BMW GT2 rim size
Body with 162mm height → Porsche 918 rim size

parts needed:

3x M5 threaded inserts (tested with Ruthex)

3x M5x12

parts to be printed:

1x base

1x body_XXmm

1x qr_adapter

print settings:

0.2mm layer height

PLA/PETG

“Body_xx” part needs support for the QR part.

I added modifiers (cylindrical) with higher infill (at least 50%) to reinforce the hole where the insert will be placed for the “qr_adapter” part. I recommend this to avoid sagging of the heavier wheels like the BMW V1 rim.
