3d printed realistic wolf fursuit head base

Big shout out to Crystumes for letting me distribute this head base. Most of my measurements came off of her original cast of the Legacy wolf head base she created and I couldn't have done this without her creativity , hard work, and generosity. Artists are the back bone of the fandom and if you like any of the furry related work I do, please support them!

This head base's goal was to add some of the modern conveniences like internal fan, plus some of the animatronics I wanted to integrate into the suit. for starters I used a roller bearing in the jaw hinge to communicate smooth motion from talking/ jaw movement.these roller bearings take an outer diameter of 19mm and should fit in snuggly. The stems of the jaws are a bit hamfistedly strengthened but doesn't effect the aesthetics  . I added mounting holes for an internal fan i think a 10mm-12mm 5V computer fan is what its designed around since they are readily available online. The nose is removable for the sake of easy access to jaw components and so a silicone nose can literally be plugged into the whole. There's a set of mounting holes in the jaws for a set of teeth I designed to fit with M2 screws. I also created a mounting set up so Adafruit's/ MarcWolf's uncanny eyes could fit in-- microcontroller and all. This works well but  good luck  finding a Teensy 3.2  I got it to work on an M4 itsy bitsy BUT it looks like 5 nights at freddys when photos and videos are taken due to the the out of sync cycle rate. Its been a big damper on the development and I don't know how much more I'll push this design until I a reasonable replacement or work around. regardless it still works! I also added mounts on the back for a hard hat cradle . They vary in design greatly so I added my solid works files so they can be modified for your head. I tried multiple times to add the OG assembly but regardless of site I post on the file is corrupted or too big .

I printed all of the parts for this out of PLA since its light, cheap, and easy to work with. if you have any questions feel free to hit me up @techdumpling on twitter
