Screw measuring tool, Metric M1.6 to M12

What it is

A compact tool to determine the size and length of screws & bolts. In contrast to other designs it offers a unique cylindrical design which packs additional features like measuring flathead screws and corresponding nut sizes on the same tool.

What to print

There are multiple variants awaiting you:

	mini variant just 50.2 mm tall and 28 mm in diameter M1.6 - M2 - M2.5 - M3 - M4 - M5 nuts as well hole through the body to attach a cord
	mini vase variant 59 mm tall with its mountain top M1.6 - M2 - M2.5 - M3 - M4 - M5 screws only
	standard variant 120.2 mm tall and 45 mm in diameter M2 - M3 - M4 - M5 - M6 - M8 - M10 - M12 nuts as well hole through the body
	vase variant 132 mm tall with its mountain top printed in vase mode it is fast and consumes less than 14 gram of filament (at 0.65 mm extrusion width and two bottom layers) while feeling sturdy already screws only
	hang variant added tab to attach a cord to screws only, holes in the bottom (M2 - M8) 145 mm tall print
	open vase variant 120mm tall M2 - M3 - M4 - M5 - M6 - M8 - M10 - M12 screws only collect screws and measure them later

How to print

Recommended for printing is a 0.2 mm layer height. Printing with a 0.6mm nozzle and Arachne activated in PrusaSlicer works well, as can be seen in the pictures above.

A multi color version is just a matter of filament changes between layers. 3mf files for the mini and standard variant are provided. If you happen to have a MMU, you can of course go crazy with the markings.

In case it won't print neatly after a filament change: A draft shield, wipe tower or any object to consume filament beforehand (establishing good flow by doing so) may help.

Material at one's discretion, I used PETG in two different colors.
