Why a Monkey Coin?
Well, here is the story.
Imagine you manage a team. This team is full of tasks and is short on people.
You, as a manager, need, at least, to achieve 2 goals:
- Help your team to accomplish the tasks;
- Have things done!
I often say, a task is like a monkey in our back, if you don’t finish it, it will start to annoying you. The longer he is on your back, the more nonsense he will do, even stick his fingers on your nose and ears.
So, I can help my team accomplish the tasks by priority, advises, giving them tools, etc.
Problem is, there is always something coming on, and sometimes… you know.
I decide to give them something physical, something for them to remember, a Monkey Coin.
You will find 4 type of Monkey Coins models.
- 2 stand alone coins, one in Portuguese the other English.
- 2 with a magnet (10mm x 2mm) hole to use with a paw. One in Portuguese the other in English
- and 1 paw with a magnet hole.
The purpose of the paw is to be able to attach a paper with the name of the task, or anything else.
You can use, either the paw or the monkey coin, in your fridge! :)
I bought my magnets on aliexpress.
