Filament Cutter 45°

New edition - April 2025: A  guide pin has been added to prevent the cutter from twisting. The thread for the screw has been made more print-friendly.

All that is needed in addition to the printed parts is 1 segment from 18 mm snap-off blade.

Use pliers, tweezers or similar to install the knife blade. First, place the front edge of the blade against the front of the knife bed. Then, tilt the back edge down into place in the knife bed and install the screw with a screwdriver (do not over tighten). Finally, install the guide pin by simply pressing it into the hole at the top (the rounded side of the top should face forward).

Below is an assembly instruction video:

If for one reason or another you want to dismantle the guide pin, it is possible to release the lock by pressing a 2mm hex key or similar into the hole in the front.
