Does work, mobile speaker needs to point downwards into the slot. Scale/modify model to fit your phone, as is, it fits a Google Pixel 9, Pixel 6a & Asus Zenfone 3, slot is 77x10mm. Added supports at the back for better stability. You might want to do some tweaking with the Equalizer bands in your music app to get the sound just right.
