This time i tried to use some led light with this bust.
There are 2 ways to accomplish that.
First is to print the front of the head in red transparent resin with a resin printer of your choice.
I used my SL1S and it looks quite good. Than paint the backside (of the front) black, but leave the part of the Iris clear.
Or in other words no paint where the leds meet the printed part.
Second, if you dont have a resin printer, drill out the pupils with a small drillbit (2-2.5mm)
or print with red PLA and try out the first method. If it is enough transparent it could work.
If you want to paint the bust, keep in mind that you should not paint the eyes like you would usually do.
The best way to paint them, is to light them up with the leds and look how it works.
I used no paint for the Iris, only some black for the pupil.
For the eyes i used two 3mm red leds and a batterypack i bought from Amazon.de
