Dieser Leuchtturm ist eines der Wahrzeichen von Bremerhaven. Er steht auf der Nordmole der Geesteeinfahrt. Gebaut wurde der Leuchtturm in den Jahren 1912-14 und steht seit 2001 unter Denkmalschutz.

Am Abend des 17. August 2022 brach das Fundament unter dem Leuchtturm teilweise ein, und der Turm steht in Schieflage mit grossem Risiko innerhalb kurzer Zeit vollständig umzustürzen.

This lighthouse is a landmark of Bremerhaven/Germany. It was constructed in the years 1912-14 and since 2001 it is a protected monument.

On the evening of August 17, 2022, the foundations under the lighthouse partly collapsed and the tower is leaning in a dangerous angle with a high risk of a total collapse.

The scale of the model in the files is 10:1, 1 mm in the file corresponds to 1 cm in reality.

In order to print it at scale you will need to scale it again in your slicer:

• 0.8% in the slicer will give you a 1:1250 scale model
• 6.25% in the slicer will give you a 1:160 scale model (N scale)
• 8.33% in the slicer will give you a 1:120 scale model (TT scale)
• 10% in the slicer will give you a 1:100 scale model
• 11.5% in the slicer will give you a 1:87 scale model (HO scale)

How I Designed This

Like my previous design of another lighthouse I also used a python script to create a smooth Bezier curve for the rotational extrusion of the main body.
