This is a mount for the Hadley Telescope by Maff. I got the idea for this from the Rocker Box by Skizzaz. The changes I made to Skizzaz design were 1) reduced in size to speed printing and save material, 2) incorporated thumb screws to lock the tubing into place, and 3) changed the bottom base so that it could be mounted on base/platform. #3 also helped reduce material and print time.
I used the same hardware (tubing, nuts, thumbscrews) as in the telescope. I tied it to a wooden base for added weight. I put a bearing plate between the squares of plywood (204mm x 204mm aka 8 and 1/32" x 8 and 1/32") so the telescope could rotate about the vertical.
I also added caps (½" Tubing End Caps) to the tubing of my telescope to clean up the ends.
Below are links to where I got the parts for the telescope and telescope mount. I hope you enjoy.
