The Arctis Nova Pro uses a different ear cup mounting mechanism than past headset versions, preventing the use of existing replacement ear cups. Along with the availability of compatible replacements only using faux leather (hot and uncomfortable for some people), this is apparently due to the need for a tighter seal around the ear for the implementation of active noise cancellation.

This adapter converts the Nova Pro's ear cup mount to the older Arctis-series wrap mount mechanism. It will not mount as securely as official replacements, but I've tried to get it as close as possible.

As a bonus, it also adds a couple millimeters of distance between your head and the headset, which may be useful if your ear frequently touches the internal noise cancellation microphone.

Note: Use of the adapter and other ear pad materials will negatively affect the performance of active noise cancellation. If active noise cancellation is important to you, you may want to stick with the stock ear pads.
