I want to share my latest weekend creation.
An epic “Kurvinox” character from well-known Polish cartoon “Kapitan bomba”.
Designed from the ground up in 3Ds Max as a multipart print for assembly.
Printing tips:
- Print one part at a time (or sequential printing) for better quality.
- For good balance use 100% infill for the Tail. 0% infill for head, horns and eyes.
- Use super glue for connecting parts.
Paint used for painting:
- AK interactive Grey primer AK 175
- Vallejo Pastel Blue 70.901
- Vallejo Old Rose 70.944
- Vallejo Black 70.950
Painting tips:Â
- Sand printed model first, remove any imperfections.
- Glue assembled model on a stick to avoid finger sweat and oils
- Use Primer.
- Mix paint together to make color variations.
- Use the dry brush technique to add details.
Enjoy your own Kurvinox and remember: “Schludnie, choć nasrane”.
