Here is my take on the 29th century tricorder from the Star Trek: Voyager episode ‘Relativity.’
There is a solid and a hollow version if anyone wants to add some kind of electronics.
I printed the main parts standing up, hinge sides down, with supports. The legs on the lid may give you trouble but you can force support for the first 50 layers to keep them from coming loose.
Make sure the hinge covers or the back cover are in place in order for the lid to open smoothly.
Decal graphics included as a zip file. March 31 2023 - Added a version of the graphics as a PDF that prints as actual size. Check your printer settings to ensure it prints actual size and not fit-to-page.
Comes with a stand that has a flip-up support for displaying the tricorder open or closed. Use color swapping for the tag. Here is a guide that explains how color swapping works, at least with Prusaslicer: https://help.prusa3d.com/en/article/color-change_1687
Filament used was Eryone glitter silver PLA.
