Cable Tamers

To help organize my cord drawer I designed these cord wraps(Cable Tamers) in two sizes. Wanted to share here if you could use the design.

How to use:

Place one end of the cable into one of the smaller cut outs on the side.

Wrap the cord around in the direction that keeps the end of the cable locked in place.

Continue to wrap until reaching the other end of the cable.

Place the loose end of the cord into the side profile that keeps it tightest.

Notes:

After wrapping, you can compress the cord a bit more in the middle to help the loose end reach the lock profile.

*Don’t strain the cable just to lock it in place. As this will cause more wear on your cables than is necessary. Use a half wrap using the lock profile as a work around for a long loose end.
