These glands can be printed in standing position. low layer thickness and good cooling is really helping a lot with resolution of the threads. But it is also designed to work with medium print quality. even bad stringing should be ok with some force ;)
ABS, ASA or PA would be the best material since it allows a bit more flex. Didn't try PLA or PETG yet but this should also work with some testing.
The D20 Version is made for 20mm holes (12mm inner diameter)
The D16 Version is made for 16mm holes (9,5mm inner diameter)
Additional comment: The stepped top is there so you could add those rubber rings (same as in the bought parts) for sealing. The _2 Version of the main gland is if you don't have those rubber seals
